Today Switzerland announced that it would join the European Union's passport-free zone, December 12th, though it will remain unattached as a bloc member. Now any terrorist group or military force can slide right in without so much as a handshake. There is a reason why Britain,
Cyprus, and Ireland (who are EU members) have opted for a "zone defense". Maybe Switzerland should go talk to them.

Georgia and Minnesota are our two hopes in keeping our nation's Checks and Balances system in place. Already the Democrats control the House and Senate, however, if they win the last two senate seats they will be an impregnable force. The GOP will not be allowed to filibuster legislation presented on the floor of the Senate by the Democrats (no matter how lame or costly). Minnesota's GOP Senator, Norm Coleman, is in a tight race with his challenger, Al Franken. The problem is not that the ballot count dilemma may head to the courts...but, rather that the final say could end up in the Democratic majority Senate. Hmmm, I wonder how that will fly? The old saying about the fox guarding the hen house comes to mind.
Note: Ballots should not be subject to interpretation by anyone who has a stake in the election's outcome.
May God bless America...and may America deserve it!
