Pray For Our President...Even If He Wasn't Our Choice

We can whine or celebrate all we want after any election, however, the outcome is what it is. There is a certain sinister side to the losing party hoping that the person in power will fail "big time". After all, surely the people will rally the next election for our party's nominee. Have we ever tried praying for the person(s) in power? Only a fool wants his/her nation to undergo poor economic times, moral decay, and scorn from foreign dignitaries. Maybe our members of Congress can not act in a bipartisan manner because they are a reflection of our "win at any price" mentality. But, at what price victory? No matter who wins the election, in November, the new President will be closely linked to every aspect of our lives...and that sobering reality is worth prayers...and daily.
